The regional tax authorities, along with the Basque government, have initiated a collaborative effort to combat tax fraud. This initiative, known as TICKET BAI, focuses on implementing a series of new technical and legal requirements that will have a direct impact on the invoicing practices of businesses.

The primary objective of this project is to enhance control and transparency over the turnover and business operations of companies, with a particular emphasis on the business-to-consumer (B2C) sector. By implementing TICKET BAI, the authorities aim to gain greater insights into the financial activities of businesses and reduce instances of tax evasion.
